Golang Job: Devops Engineer

We are expanding our team as we embark on a green field application bringing High Performance Computing(HPC) to the Cloud for the secure execution of chip design software, real challenges are you ready ?

The solution domain will be a hybrid PaaS / SaaS with a security posture capable of storing chip designs in the cloud with applications including smart phones, aeronautics and nuclear reactors. All this in a system intended to scale in increments the size of an entire SaaS application for a single request

We're looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to be a key contributor to the overall security posture both our applications and infrastructure. The individual will both work with the application design teams and the wider Siemens software security group!

You will understand the AWS and or Azure security landscape & deploy controls to prevent, detect and respond to those security threats, whilst working across many security teams including infrastructure, engineering, and operations.

• Can form, articulate and support opinions and narratives from research and POCs
• Understand the attack surface of software running in the cloud.

• Guide shift-left adoption by introducing and improving security testing mechanisms into the company’s CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, etc.).
• Develop high quality, secure, stable code for use by Siemens Product Security
• Work with security partners to define needs and design solutions relevant to solving a security problem.
• Extend and improve existing off the shelf security tooling in order to fit into Siemens use cases.
• Research external standard methodologies and emerging software and security technologies for possible incorporation into platform/applications and methodologies.
• Review application and/or cloud infrastructure designs for vulnerabilities

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Technology or a relevant degree
• Strong software engineering and/or SecOps experience
• Experience with DevSecOps standard methodologies for the full engineering lifecycle
• Deep understanding of securing one of the Cloud IaaS via automation.
• Strong development skills in Python, Golang or related language.
• Strong understanding of Identity, Authorisation, Encryption, RBAC and Data Security in a multi-cloud environment
• Strong design & development experience in Agile development environment
• Proficiency with building, maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker and modern deployment methodologies.
